Get Ready: Substance Use Disorder Compliance Starts February 16

Don’t delay updating your steps to treat patients with substance use disorder (SUD). Part 2 Program providers treating patients with SUD must follow 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2 Final Rule. The federal rule starts February 16.

What to Know

This applies if you’re a Part 2 Program provider:

• Get treatment, payment, and operations (TPO) consent from the patient.
• Check for a reminder from LifeWise Health Plan of Washington about getting TPO consent.
• Correct missing TPO consent before sending requests.
